Most information can be found on the Student Portal and here in Canvas there is a compilation of the resources that you as a student have access to. Feel free to click through to find out more and get up-to-date information.

To have a sustainable student life, there are certain things that you need to consider. It’s important that you provide yourself with the proper conditions to manage your studies. You are not expected to know everything when you start, but you are expected to take responsibility for learning and to get help if you need it. You are also expected to find out basic information about your rights and obligations regarding the study environment and equal treatment.

Health

There are many things that affect your health during your studies and we know that being a student can be tough. Remember to get help early if you are not feeling well. Then it will often be easier to get back to a functioning everyday life.

Stress management course and more

There are a number of courses, videos and recorded webinars about student health and study environment that you can access in a Canvas course. Register yourself on the course and you can access the content whenever you want. You will not be graded or assessed on the courses.

Study environment - more than the physical environment

Study environment means the physical, psychological and social conditions that are important for how you as a student feel and function in your study situation. Having a good study environment is important and we have a joint responsibility for it. The University is responsible for providing good conditions and you as a student are responsible for contributing to a pleasant environment.

The study and work environment at the University of Gothenburg must be accessible to all and be free from all forms of discrimination and harassment. As a student, you should feel safe and secure when you study with us.

At the University Church you have the opportunity to talk about what is currently important to you - studies, work, longing, relationships, grief, loneliness, choices, faith, doubt ... you are welcome regardless of your beliefs.
