To be able to study a course, students themselves need to register on the course. Registration on a course shows that the student is actively expected to read the course.

Courses at first and second cycle

Chalmers’ courses at first and second cycle are available to doctoral students admitted to doctoral studies at Chalmers, provided there is a place in the course instance.

- After the agreement that the first/second cycle course instance will be a part of your doctoral studies, this must be documented in your individual study plan, ISP.
- Application must be sent in in conjunction with the registration period for the course instance, though not later than during the first study week of the course instance. Handling of the application could be affected by on-going course selection for the undergraduate students.
- After the result are reported you apply for transfer of credits, according to the routine at your department.

Examination

Sign-up for exams is mandatory and must be completed during the sign-up period for the exam you will attend. The academic year – dates and times shows the dates of the sign-up period. You can also search for the dates and times of exams in the service “search examination dates”.

Don’t forget to cancel your sign-up if you decide not to attend. Cancellations can be made up until the day before the examination date.
